There are 3 options -
1. THE WISECRACKER (bespoke jokes)
Give us the juice on your beloved/guests/CEO, and we’ll write personalised jokes to go in the patter between our songs.
It’s like having 2 best men (without the faff of a wedding).
2. THE IMPRESARIO (bespoke song, style 1)
Commission us to write an hysterical song to première at your party.
Wow your guests. Delight the birthday boy / bride / boss.
On a general theme of your choosing - or we can suggest one. Irresponsible skiing? Passive-aggressive priests? The funniest thing about hedge funds?
'Challenged to write a Brexit song for my husband's 50th at Dartmouth House, B&C played an absolute blinder - brilliant rhymes, wonderful singing and terribly charming to boot. Encore!' - Sarah B
'Writing a song about the SNP to entertain a bunch of finance execs is a rather tall order, but B&C rose to it brilliantly - and they even pulled off an eye-wateringly-funny song starring Angela Merkel!' - Alan K (commissioned two songs for parties at the Reform Club)
3. THE COURT JESTER (bespoke song, style 2)
Dish the dirt. We’ll serve it beautifully -
in a personalised song, about your company/wife/MP.
In-jokes galore. Guaranteed hilarity. Unique and unforgettable.
'B&C's song for my wife's 50th at Highclere Castle made her laugh and cry at the same time... I cannot recommend them highly enough. My advice: book them.' - Tim H, CEO
‘I commissioned a song for my company's quarterly review party - my colleagues gave B&C the low-dow on office politics, and they came up with an ingenious parody of our company jingle which had everyone in fits of laughter!’ - Michelle F, CEO
'These boys are truly talented. They made a wonderful evening into a very, very special one, with a song dedicated to my wife for her 60th. I couldn’t recommend them more highly - and I'd be very happy to do so personally to anyone interested in booking them.' - David C
A SONG FOR A PRINCE WHO TURNED INTO A RAINBOW
In the summer of 2017, we performed at the opening of The New Generation Festival, a new opera festival hosted by the Corsini family, in the gardens of the Palazzo Corsini al Prato, Florence.
The Corsini arrived in Florence in the 12th century. Their line includes the saint Andrea Corsini, and Pope Clemente XII, who commissioned the Trevi Fountain.
In 2016, Prince Filippo Corsini (the current Prince Filippo's only son's only son) was tragically killed in a cycling accident in London, aged only twenty-one.
He was brought home to Italy. At the exact moment his mother opened the casket to see his face for the last time, an extraordinary thing happened.
A double rainbow appeared over the house.
(Tibetan Buddhists have reported this occuring when someone attains 'complete knowledge'.)
Gathered for grieving, the family enjoyed unexpected light -
Indeed, the opera festival went ahead partly as a celebration of Filippo, and the lasting light and colours he has given.
One of the family suggested we write a song for the opening of the festival. We wrote this to celebrate the Corsini, and Filippo's legacy.
(some of Filippo's cousins at the song's performance)
